Friday Night Steel

Coming up this Friday at Marion County Fish & Game Association is the monthly Friday Night Steel match - you can read the rules and requirements at the link above.

I'll be there to shoot, even though my brother's wife is coming into town, she's at rehearsal dinner or something so I don't have to worry about blowing off family to go play with my Glock 24 and do a little "clang-'n-bang".

The Steel matches at MCF&G are a lot of fun, if for no other reason that it's a good way to practice your shooting skills. Bring your carry gun, 3-5 mags, a bunch of ammo and have a good time! Additionally, if you'd like to support Friday Night Steel matches, you can actually buy gear at their CafePress store. The money from the shirt sales etc goes right back into funding the matches and helping provide a safe and fun place to shoot.

I'll be there this Friday looking to have a little fun and improve on my scores from last time. I hope to see you there!
