On the topic of the swine flu for a second, I do want to be clear - our derision of the "crisis" has nothing to do with the disease itself, and our hearts and prayers go out to the families of those that have lost loved ones due to swine flu. Nor are we of the opinion that swine flu isn't dangerous, rather our objection and contention lies with the sensationalist media coverage of this, and the sense that they are manufacturing a crisis out of something which, while dangerous, does not warrant the level of attention that it's getting. Swine flu is dangerous, but so is the regular flu. Take precautions, wear a mask if you're traveling, wash your hands, and don't touch your face. Oh, and like I said on the show last - don't lick anyone from Mexico.
Next week's show, we'll be joined by a rep from Steel Challenge, so don't miss that!

Hi Caleb,
I am a regular on the Home On The Range Blog, and found you through Brigid. I am not sure how to get on the show live. I also understand that there is a way to see the people on the radio. How do I do that? I also think that by the time I tuned in, the show had already been going on, and yet I picked it up from the beginning is that possible? I am in Arizona which is not on DST. That puts me on the same time zone as California (PST), so I should tune in at 6:00 p.m. my time? You are 2 hours earlier, or 3?
Also do most people sign in with their names, or would the use of the identity I'm using for the blog do?
Thanks for your time, and response.
This same thing happened in 1976. I went and got a swine flu shot like many others. Is it still good?
Rangerider - yes, if you're in Arizona you'll want to tune it at 6pm your time, since you're current sync'd up with California time. As far as watching the hosts, you'll need to register a user account with BlogTalkRadio to view our live webcame feed of myself or Breda, depending on which of us is hosting that night.
