In fact, you could say that after last night's show, the edges on our various axes have been honed to a razor. I was a little taken aback by the number of complaints, especially at the end of the show - I ended up running out of time and couldn't get to a couple of callers at the end. My ax is with the NRA. Although they pose as a pro-Second Amendment organization, they bent over on the 1994 federal "assault weapon" ban, just because they successfully got a sunset provision inserted. One of their directors is Bob Barr who pushed for legislation to give the BATFE the authority to issue "administrative subpoenas" to people who attend gun shows claiming they may have purchased something illegal and demanding that they present their firearms for inspection.
If I call in, would you send $5 to the Gun Owners of America instead?
